Magnificent example of Japanese tin toy car making at its best! This tin litho friction drive automobile was quality built from top to bottom. Authentically styled vehicle is in spectacular excellent+ to near mint condition and comes complete with its original box.

Not quite bright white, but more of a bone colored body with two-tone red interior. Black chassis with white details. Loaded with chrome. Loaded with windows (actual vehicle had a total of eight windows). Features authentic, wide low slung body with flamboyant jet-like rear fins. The front section alone has five separate chrome parts not including the wheel hubs. Includes chrome plated Cadillac hood emblem, wrap around front bumper, checkerboard grille, hood grille, double headlights, front and rear windshield frames, four door handles, rear bumper, and wheel hubs. Then there's the twin double red tail lights which look fantastic and the towering front and rear blue tinted celluloid windshields. Steering wheel is plastic. Tires are solid black rubber whitewalls. Rear license plate lithoed with Cadillac script logo. The underside chassis is a single embossed plate and includes the manufacturer name and car model.

The box cover was illustrated with an accurate representation of the actual toy (i.e., the actual car). "Cadillac, The New Standard Of The World In Majesty" was printed just below the cover logo. Long side panels advertise Bandai's tin car model collection along side the Cadillac hood emblem. Short panels show a simple line portrait illustration of the car. Still has its original $1.99 price sticker.
